Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take you
Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go
Jamaica

Off the Florida Keys
There's a place called Kokomo
That's where you wanna go to get away from it all

Bodies in the sand
Tropical drink melting in your hand
We'll be falling in love
To the rhythm of a steel drum band
Down in Kokomo

Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take you
To Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go

Ooo I wanna take you down to Kokomo
We'll get there fast
And then we'll take it slow
That's where we wanna go
Way down to Kokomo

To Martinique, that Monserrat mystique

We'll put out to sea
And we'll perfect our chemistry
By and by we'll defy a little bit of gravity

Afternoon delight
Cocktails and moonlit nights
That dreamy look in your eye
Give me a tropical contact high
Way down in Kokomo

Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take you
To Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go

Ooo I wanna take you down to Kokomo
We'll get there fast
And then we'll take it slow
That's where we wanna go
Way down to Kokomo

Port Au Prince I wanna catch a glimpse

Everybody knows
A little place like Kokomo
Now if you wanna go
And get away from it all
Go down to Kokomo

Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take you
To Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go

Ooo I wanna take you down to Kokomo
We'll get there fast
And then we'll take it slow
That's where we wanna go
Way down to Kokomo

Aruba, Jamaica ooo I wanna take you
To Bermuda, Bahama come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego baby why don't we go

Ooo I wanna take you down to Kokomo

Before anyone asks me how much my skates really cost, they cost me 189 pounds. Thats around S$570.

By the way, badminton fans, Yonex's best racket at the moment, armortech 900 is out. Costing around 150 pounds. A tad too pricey. Well, the frame is composed of flex metal, composite with high modulus graphite. Talk about techonology. Bottom half of its head is a different material altogether. Cool eh.. Whole weight of the racket is around 80 grams.

OK, i'm off to play badminton now.

Bought new skates. As said, the salomon freeskates that are meant for freestyle urban skating is no longer in production.

Thus, it was totally necessary for me to buy a new pair. (Excuses eh?) Here in Europe, from the French Pro Skater Sebastian Laffargue, has produced a skate that might do better than the Salomon FSK series. I wanna go for skating lessons when i go back to SG. Learn how to slalom properly, and learn the hockey stop properly, and some advanced slides. Not to mention proper railgrinds. I do the powerslide though. Self taught, resulted in many injuries. Nya haha. I guess coaching would be safer. Learnt some neat tricks on my own, like the toe heel trick, backwards crossovers, one footer slalom, etc..

Gonna need some coaching on more masterful skills.

Ordered Seba FR 1 a couple of days ago.. Expecting them to arrive today or tomorrow.
My legs are itching to skate. The price is a tad more expensive than my Crossmax S-lab. That costed me around S$530? Its finally warming up here in Manchester. Heard the radio broadcast earlier. They said it was baking in Manchester!

Right. Bakin in the bus when the temperature is around 15 deg. I think they will die of heatstroke the moment they step outta Changi Airport.

Then again, my body has accustomed to the UK weather. My sis commented that when she first came back from the UK, she had difficulty breathing cuz it was really a drastic change in climate.

Hmm. Try living in a place where 18 deg is the rare maximum of temperatures throughout the year. Winter comes and it goes negative. Oh well, I guess my body is a homeostatsis powerhouse. I don't perspire in the sauna. Only do after 15 mins or so. Friends in SG were amazed, friends in UK were also amazed. Heyhey!! So i do go to the sauna in both countries!! Mua haha. I love the heat.. BAthing in a misty heaty bathroom is the norm for me. Then again, i don't perspire much. If i do, i'd lose even more weight. Zz.

Look at the how discomfortable BBC weather has rated us. Discomfort from heat, EXTREME!

I'm so gonna gain weight during this easter. Eat more, gym more. Muscles are heavier than fat anyways.

Ok. Will end here now. Here's a picture of my new skates. Pretty thing. That brings the number of skates I have to, 4. Salomon Preface, Salo FSK Crossmax Thunder, Salo FSK Crossmax S-Lab, and my new Seba FreeRide One...

I've been thinking about something these days. Working in the UK, that is. If my scholarship provider doesn't require me to serve in their company in SG, I might consider working in the UK.

Working in the UK has its perks. The currency is x3 of that of SG's. I've done some research on the annual salary of the average graduate. Its is around 20000 pounds. Well, per month, basic pay would be around 1670 pounds. Converting that to SG dollars, thats around 5000 per month.

Most companies pay more than 20000 per year.. So, calculating my expenses and renting a place to stay, I might be able to generate more than 5000 pounds of savings per year. Thats equivalent to S$15 000!! Maybe I'll work in the UK for a couple of years, then come back to SG after that.

Then I'll be able to buy my own car. Nya Ha ha ha ha ha. I miss the career fair and international student job opportunity talk this year. Oh wells, I'll go to the one next year..

Mum, Dad, I know that you will read this.. Hehehe.. 3rd sis wants a downpayment for a car as a present from you guys if she attain a First Class Honors. Its a good incentive for me if i asked, but you've already given me my S$8000 ref 54 saxophone for my birthday. Don't want you guys to spend too much money. I want to drive a nice small sports car when I get back to SG. Thinking of the Mazda MX5. Checked it out online these few days. A 1990++ model costs around S$30 000. If possible, I'd like to pay the sum in full. Dun wan any loans. Dun like to have any liabilites attached to me.

Two years of working in the UK could generate around 10k of savings for me. Thats enough money to get myself a nice MX5 in singapore.

I'm still thinking about it. Hmm.. What say ya, mum? Dad? You always wanted me to bring you over outta SG to retire yur?? HEhehe. I might just do that.

I'm in the library now.. Do I look tired?

Yes I am.

Issues have been raised about Financial Planning and Control Project.

People are all complaining!!! Not only me , k?

Hehe..

Excuses for a slacker.
Tsk tsk tsk.

By the way, I realised that my favourite line of skates, the Salomon FreeSkates Crossmax, has terminated its production.

Salomon no longer make skates. Bloody pieces of faecal matter!!! I can't swear. By the way, sh*t IS a swear word.

I'll have to customise my skate boots with new bearings, and wheels when I get back to SG. Presently, I'm using my thudermax boot instead of the crossmax. Coupled with the crossmax s-lab frame, and ILQ-9 military chrome bearings, it makes urban skating so much more fun..

Don't get what I'm saying? No worries. Ask me!

I'll just tell ya now..
This is gonna get boring ya know..

The skate boot is what you put your feet into.
The skate frame is what that holds the wheels together, and joins the skate boot. Requires an allen key to secure. Mines a crossmax s-lab frame, made outta extruded aluminium. Strong stuff. Ya know what, I tried doing jumps with normal recreational skates. They didn't last very long.

The bearings are what that make the wheels spin. ILQ-9 bearings are basically one of the best, fastest spinning, durable bearings u can get.
Streets of Singapore, wait for me. Here i come, in two months time!!
Jumps, grinds, and slides are what that is done with my skates.

I dunno why people call inline skating, "rollerblading".

"rollerblade" is a brand.
Just like when people say, the baby needs pampers. Or when you're hungry, you eat maggi mee.

People in UK says, "you need to hoover the floor". Wells, what they're actually saying is that I need to vacuum the floor.

English huh? We bend english to our slangs. Ok. Back to work.

I'm piled up with work!!

I'm fainting.

Well, it was snowing a couple of days ago. Its supposed to be coming spring. Weird weather.
Added chi leong, Qinhong, cousin yuanie and qinnie to my links.

Chi Leong and Qinhong are great dudes i met during my days in Victoria School. Hehe.
Both are smart arses who went into VJC. WHahahaha..

Yuanie Carrie, and qinnie are sisters. They seem to be weight conscious though. Totally unlike my sis. Man. Talk about genetical makeup. My sister and I never do gain any actual weight. My friends in UK don't ask me whether i want to eat, cuz i never say no.

They just feed me. Seriously, I eat more than the average human being. A large Big Mac meal, coupled with a free cheeseburger gets me satisfied, but not full.

What's wrong with me? Which regards to dad, whom i think he never gains any weight cuz he smokes. Maybe i'm wrong. We are like that.. Zzz.

Most peeps around my dad's age would have a belly. Nope. don't see one. I see ribs on my dad.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm not gonna become like that.

My dad doesn't even exercise. What kinda weird genetics do my family have??!??! I've tried eating 5 meals a day. Eating dinner portions for two. I use 5 handfuls of Penne Pasta to fill myself up. My mom eats everything left on the table. She's still ain't gaining weight. Not only my dad, my mom too! How can two people with such weird dietry traits meet and get married??!

Don't they ever think of how their children could ever gain weight?

I have 3 large Hotdogs from Manchester United in my fridge. Kapo brought them back from work. Thanks babe!!
I need a wife who owns a farm.

I love people who feed me.

SO FEED ME MORE!
Great thanks to those who fed me. That includes William, Cherri, Keung, Queena, and Sis, etc..
(btw, my profile states that i'm 59 kg. thats bullshit. I'm not telling u peeps my real weight.)

Heyhey!

I updated some things on my blog.

1) New music
2) New Pic
3) If ya noticed , my sch history.
4) A little visitor counter. Hehe. Its an equaliser!!

Anyways, I just came back from manchester city centre. Had some cantonese Yum Cha. Wells, the thing is, everyone there was cantonese, and I was the only Singaporean there. Hehe. So how was the food? Cantonese food is generally saltier i guess? Or maybe it was just that restaurant.
Harriet invited me there, and I invited Jason. By the way, for those who know who debbie chan is, i think harriet looks like debs. She's got pretty much the same features. If they stood together, I'd mistake them for sisters. Once in the poor lighting, I really thought she was debs. WHAHAHAHAHA..

We ate for like 2 + hours? Couldn't understand most of what they're saying, but could make out some. MAN!!! I'm so gonna take cantonese lessons when i get back to SG or sumtin. All my BBC friends have Hong Kong roots.

It was hailing outside just now. What do i mean by hail? Ice of course. This ain't singapore.. Zz. Ice do fall onto ur head naturally.. Its quite the experience really.

Snow/Ice on the ground, ice everywhere. Its slippery, darn it.
Today is mother's day for the english. It differs from 0urs. Our mother's day fall on a different day.

I just saw a gay friend's profile on friendster. I find it disturbing. He was in my same poly-band back in poly days. Wells, I can feel that in the Singaporean society, gays are being accepted more and more.

I feel that this is something people had always kept shuush about. Nobody really talks about it.
Here's my standing on gays and lesbians.

Here's the thing. We are humans, and humans are made by God. God made Adam and Eve.

Not Adam and Alex.

Not Eve and Evelyn.

God made ADAM, and EVE.

Yeaps. Even if you killed me a hundred times over, I am standing firm on God's plans for this world. Ask me, and I can tell you why God is real. Everything in the bible came true yeap?
My family is abundantly blessed by God yeap? Ask me and I'll tell you things you'll find hard to believe.

God made Adam and Eve. And HE was pleased with it.
"God looked at everything He had made, and He was very pleased. - Genesis 1:31"

Even if you don't believe in God, what about nature?

Nature produced the male and the female.
Why are people going against nature?

How can life go on if the whole world were made up of gays and lebians?
If all animals were gays and lesbians, there will be no life left on this earth.

They all say that they were born this way. (Gays and lesbians.)
Studies have shown that childhood plays an important part in the child's sexuality.
Born this way?
Yea right. That means there is a Gay Gene. Try searching the internet. No study could ever prove that gays are born. There's no conclusive study that gays and born gay. NOPE. NOTHING!!! NONE!!!

Nor lesbians.

Will you still be gay when you're 60?

I've friends who are gay, and friends who are lesbians. I do not sever friendships because of their sexuality.

I am born in a family where all my siblings are females. I grew up with 3 sisters. I stayed in a room full of barbie dolls and the like when I was a kid.
I'm not gay in any way.

I'm sure you haven't heard of Christian gays and lesbians.

Lets say we have 3,000,000 Christians and 3,000,000 non-Christians. In which group will you have gays and lesbians?

Its obvious.

Don't be offended by Christianity; my message to gays and lesbians. Getting offended by something you don't understand is what you call, foolishness, and pure stupidity.

You're not born without a brain, nor you are born gay.
Its what you let your surroundings and environment affect you that makes you what you are.

Here are some lines from some articles.

When "gay gene" researcher Dr. Dean Hamer was asked if homosexuality was rooted solely in biology, he replied:

"Absolutely not. From twin studies, we already know that half or more of the variability in sexual orientation is not inherited. Our studies try to pinpoint the genetic factors...not negate the psychosocial factors."
--"New Evidence of a 'Gay Gene'," by Anastasia Toufexis, Time, November 13, 1995, vol. 146, Issue 20, p. 95.

There is no support in the scientific research for the conclusion that homosexuality is biologically determined."

-- A. Dean Byrd, Ph.D.
Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of Utah School of Medicine
"The Innate-Immutable Argument Finds No Basis in Science," Salt Lake City Tribune
May 27, 2001

Extremely shy and artistic young boys, for instance, who are not affirmed in their masculinity by a caring father, might be at risk for homosexuality. It's not because of a homosexual "gene," but because of an interrupted process of achieving secure gender identity. This can make some boys who crave male affirmation an easy mark for seduction into homosexuality. A similar pattern can be seen in girls who don't fit classic gender profiles, need feminine affirmation, and are targeted by lesbians who play upon the girls' emotional needs.

You are not born homophobic. You learnt it. Period.

I don't know what God has planned for me. But now, something great has happened beyond my own reasoning.

I just spoke to my sister, and she told me the happenings back home.

I would like to share my two testimonies with my friends today. Note that what I tell you now is nothing but the truth, the truth as said in compliance with God. This actually happened. It happened, ok? So don't ask me if all this is bullshit.

A week ago, I had a dream. It was so strange. I dreamt that I was back at home in SG. It wasn't a good dream, and I felt uncomfortable when i woke up. The stranger part was, I woke up twice. This means that I was dreaming in a dream. And in that dream's dream, I dreamt of my grandfather. It took place in the carpark, back at my home in Singapore.

I dreamt that something bad happened to my grandfather, he was telling me he was afraid of death. In the same dream, I dreamt of two cars. Two cars, two dreams? A means of confirming information? The car meant as a means to get somewhere.

Anyways, at about the same time, my granddad had a blood clot in his brain, and needed an operation. The stranger part, she told me my grandpa was very afraid.

My dream had come true. Every darn thing about it. It was like a message from God.

Maybe its a coincidence? The catch , i had never dreamt about my grandpa b4. That was the first time i could ever remember.

Clearly, this is no coincidence. God is at work here.

The same thing happened to my grandmother. But it affected my dad that time. The night my grandmother died, my father was approached by the angels and told the truths. The angels told my dad that my grandma had gone back to the Father. The hospital called my dad the very night, 5 mins after he woke the whole family up while still in his dreams. Hospital said my grandma passed away.

No one might believe what I have just said. It seems like science fiction. Seems like a story. I do have difficulty even believing it myself. No. ALL THESE HAPPENDED.

I can only take it as a message to tell me of grandpa's plight.
Is this telepathy? I would believe this is the work of God.

Why so?

Becuz my grandpa is recoving in a way that is not normal. He is able to walk now, apart from being told he would be half-paralysed. It is something really not common for his condition.

This event will last in my memories forever. The day my grandpa spoke to me in my dream.

The second testimony is something more light hearted. I have word from my dad that the UK embassy in Singapore has lodged a complaint to my scholarship foundation provider.

The complaint was about why am I given a scholarship when my result in poly were quite bad.
It is, actually, I scored a GPA of 1.9. Thats really crap.

Its beyond a human's reasoning and basic common sense to give a scholarship to a person with such terrible scores. Not to mention, stupid.

But I'm here, in the UK. Now.

Its beyond a human' s reasoning and basic common sense that a perfectly healthy person who aces his physical fitness test be exempted from the army, totally.

But I'm here, in the UK. Now.

Through these couple of years, I have gone through events of life beyond the human reasoning. I say my dad's visited by angels. I say the angels told me about my grandpa.

I say it is thru God that i'm here doing my degree.

Put these events together.

You must be thinking i'm mad.
I'm thinking wrong.
I'm weird.
I'm crazy.
I'm bluffing.
I'm a bloody liar.

Call me what you want. But my trust and faith lies in the Lord.
Jesus said, if the world hates you, remember that it has hated Me first.

God exists. Period. Amen.

----------------------------------------

I only saw this when i relooked at this post. Time stated below, 2:22.00 AM

the number two. Father and son, two. God and Jesus, two. Two cars, two dreams in one. the holy trinity(3). Three twos.

I'm being absurd now.. But all this is creeepin me out, ok.

Went to trafford centre. :)

There was keung, his GF queena, my sister Christy, Wu LaLa, and I.
Hehe. Played in the arcade yeaps! Heyhey, ya know the catcher arm thingy? Where you fish out soft toys? Well, I caught a carebear on my second try. Hehe.

wulala pestered me to catch one for her, so i did.

Two carebears and one moomoo cow. Didn't catch that cow for queena though. Keung caught it for her Hehe. I must say, I'm either really lucky, or am really talented at this arm catcher thingy. We had lunch at Nando's before that. Its a famous restaurant well-known for its african chili taste. MAN! I wonder how much they spent at the arcade. I spent roughy 6 pounds in the arcade. Hmm. One interesting thing was, there was this fascinated middle-eastern girl who went like "WOW!!!" Hm. I'd faint if she asked me to catch one for her.

Went to ASDA for some groceries after, then booked a table at the korean restaurant for dinner. Man. The tea was soooo good. It was the traditional korean tea, aromatic, tasteful and smooth.

Yeaps! Thats us at the table.

And here's the Korean beef bowl:

Haven't updated since St.Valentines.

Ok. Anyways, i haven't pur up pictures of my hair. Yea. Everyone's been buggin me to cut it.
So yea, i went to get a haircut. The average price for one is 20 pounds. Yeaps. Thats how much i paid. That would be equivalent to S$60 i guess. Cut it about more than a month ago.

So yea, here's my updated pic. Took it two days ago.

Anyways, I played soccer today. Heheh. The pitch was made up of fake grass. Many rubber bits on it. Wells, it was the first time I played on a rubber soccer field. Its was more the size of a street soccer court yeaps. I strained my right thigh while playing today. It was cold, and I hadn't warmed up. Wells, silly me saw the ball and there i went, kicking it with full force. It ain't SG. Your muscles need to warm up first, here in the UK.

My exam results are out. But i haven't received it yet. I missed the lecture on last wednesday. So i didn't collect it on wednesday. Went on thurs, but they said they sent it to my accomodation already. MAN! BLOODY HELL! It takes them ages to send anything. They should have left it there in the office. I hope I do score well.

I have 3 dissertations and 1 project to do, and two presentation to prepare. Busy busy busy.

So what happened in the last few weeks?

The usual. Played badminton, went for band, etc.

# I'm a Christian. Anglican to be more precise. The traditional Christian. Christianity is not a religion, by the way. Its only a fact and way of life, but some people choose to live in delusion kinda like the matrix, or finally read the bible and realize the truth and becomes Christians. Rebuke me if I offend anyone, but a living God backs me. Hehe. Miracles beyond the doubt have happened. Cheers !
